My name is Annalee, I'm 26 Years old. I'm married with a little girl named Audrie. I have always loved working with children for as long as I can remember. I started working at a Licensed Daycare Center when I was 16. I worked there for 7 years. When I was 20 I took a job in registration at our nearby hospital, but stayed employed part time at the Daycare Center. I had always dreamed of being a kindergarden teacher or opening my own daycare. When I had my beautiful daughter Audrie, I decided to give it a shot at opening my own childcare, and was very successful. I have now been running a State Licensed Daycare of my own for almost 3 years. This year I have enrolled over 50 children at the daycare, Full time, part time, before/after school care. I love my job very much, and wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I love watching the children grow and learn new things everyday.
I am currently attending Ivy Tech College for Early Childhood Education, and also enrolled in Paths to Quality. I was also just excepted in the T.E.A.CH. Scholarship, which I am very excited about!
I just opened a second daycare in Scipio, and currently taking enrollments for all ages, preschool included.
My name is Laurel Thompson, I have been working with children for about 10 years. I worked at A Kid's View daycare for 7 years and I also work at Wee Care in Osgood, In one day a week. I am currently taking classes at Ivy Tech in pursuit of getting an Associate's Degree in Early Child Hood Education. I am married and we have two boys, Curtis who just turned 5 and Isaiah who is 1 year old. They are the joys of my life. I love teaching children.
